Abu Dhabi to remove quarantine for international visitors

Abu Dhabi is planning to lift mandatory quarantine for international travelers starting July 1.

June 1, 2021

The executive director of Tourism and Marketing, Al Shaiba said while being interviewed, that Abu Dhabi will remove the quarantine requirement for all international arrivals starting from July 1, 2021.

As of now, Abu Dhabi requires travelers to quarantine for 10 days unless they departed from a ‘green-list’ country. Al Shaiba mentioned that they will announce an extended green list and hope that Abu Dhabi will be open for everyone by July.

He also added that Abu Dhabi is monitoring new markets to make up for the loss incurred from large markets such as India, UK and Germany being shut down. This also includes the enhancement of its border with Dubai to make travel easier.
